While here in the U.S., we are counting down the days until we get to stuff ourselves with turkey, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie, in France, folks are looking forward to the first taste of this year’s grape harvest.
On the third Thursday of November, the French celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau Day. This holiday marks the release of the first wine from this year’s vintage made from grapes picked just a few weeks prior. In true French fashion, we are throwing a party!
Celebrate the release of Beaujolais Nouveau with us on Wednesday, November 15th at 6:30pm at our Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Dinner! Chef Tuck will be preparing four class. French courses as our wine expert Zoë Curren teaches us about the history of Beaujolais Day and the Gamay grape. Cost is only $50 a person and reservations can be made by calling us at 9183987201.
