25

Southern Hemisphere Wine Dinner at Biga

1st Course

Peri Peri Shrimp

Tomato-Cucumber Salad

Wine-Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc, South Africa

90 Neal Martin, Vinous, September 2024

The palate is well balanced, crisp and linear, with fine delineation. Quite an elegant Sauvignon Blanc, it boasts a precise, sapid finish that urges you back for more. This is very well made and very delicious.

2nd Course

Argentinian-Style Chicken Empanada

Red Chimichurri

Wine-Alma Negra M Blend Mendoza Argentina

" A mysterious blend, otherwise known as “M blend.” Fresh, exotic herbs, hibiscus, red berries and some blood oranges. Some sweet spices, too. Really juicy and bright on the palate with plenty of succulent fruit. Quite nervy and silky on the palate. Drink or hold. "

Entrée

Milanesa a la Napolitana

Beef, Ham Mozzarella

Wine-Tinto Nero Malbec, Uco Valley Argentina

" Floral currant and plum aromas fall squarely into the red-fruit spectrum. While not overly deep or dense, this has some weight to go with flavors of cassis, berry and chocolaty oak. It finishes mildly, with soft oak and a light herbal note.

The Brasserie Wine Dinner at Juniper

The Brasserie Wine Dinner at Juniper

After exploring Italian food and enjoying the success of opening his first restaurant, it was time for Justin to take a shot at French cuisine. Opened in 2006, The Brasserie quickly became one of Tulsa’s best fine dining restaurants and it was here that Justin earned his first of many recognitions as Oklahoma Magazine’s Best Chef in Tulsa. Classic French dishes like pate, escargot, steak frites and duck confit were the highlights of this classic refined restaurant.

Join us in celebrating French cuisine as Justin first presented it back in 2006.
