Coelho Winery Dinner at Biga

  • Biga 4329 South Peoria Avenue Tulsa, OK, 74105 United States (map)

Coelho Winery

“Welcome to our lively urban winery in Amity, where the magic of winemaking spills right into our tasting room. When harvest takes place every year, it is a marvel to behold. All but the grape growing takes place at our winery, from destemming to long-term barrel aging and everything in-between.

“Coelho” means rabbit in Portuguese, and you say it like “Quail Oh.” Wine is in our DNA. Dave’s grandad, Joe Coelho, would whip up Portuguese vinho for his loved ones, sparking Dave’s fascination with the world of wine. Fast forward to 2004, we uncorked our first Pinot Noir and boy, it’s been a fun ride since!

We cultivate wine with authenticity, treating your wallet fairly, so it can be savored at any gathering. Let’s toss out the “rule book” on wine etiquette and just relish in its taste while creating cherished memories. Cheers to living fully, loving deeply, and savoring every drop along the way!”

1st Course

Pork and Shrimp Eggroll-Jeow Som Dipping Sauce

Wine-Coelho Bubbles. Willamette Valley

“What sets our Non-Vintage Sparkling Wine apart is its versatility and depth of character. Bursting with lively flavors of crisp green apples, delicate white flowers, and zesty citrus, each sip takes you on a sensory journey through the enchanting landscapes of the Willamette Valley. With its fine, persistent bubbles and a luxuriously creamy texture, this wine is perfect for celebrating special occasions or simply elevating everyday moments.”

2nd Course

Chicken Piccata with Spaghetti

Wine-Coelho Bunny Cuvee Chardonnay, Willamette Valley

“Spiced pear and yellow apple highlight this amazingly aromatic wine. Hints of carmel add a richness along with notes of tropical and star fruits. Mouth filling, yet light on its feet, the wine exhibits a weighty quality but is well-balanced with refreshing acidity. Flavors of pear and gravenstein apple mix with hints of jasmine tea. The elegant finish is rounded out with a sensation of crushed rocks and minerals.”

Entrée

Sautéed Duck Breasts with Pomegranate Sauce

Wine-Coelho Estate Reserve Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley

“The aromas are immediately intriguing, with vibrant notes of orange rind, black tea leaves, cherry and sarsaparilla. The flavors show depth, intensity and freshness, along with plenty of structure around it all. A lingering finish caps it off. It's a complete standout.”
