“Elizabeth Spencer Winery is built on the importance of strong relationships–starting with our proprietor’s own dynamic personal and professional bond and extending outward to our important network of growers, our talented team of employees, and, ultimately to our customers. Elizabeth Spencer Winery is the realization of a dream by husband-and-wife team of Spencer Graham and Elizabeth Pressler.
Our debut wine was 1998 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and we have made that wine every year since. Working with prestigious vineyard growers, we have farmed and produced a multitude of wines from every AVA in Napa Valley. Spencer’s undying curiosity for all things viticultural led him outward and beyond the Napa Valley and into the excellent neighboring regions.”
1st Course
Shrimp Enchilada with Strawberry-Corn Salsa
Wine-Elizabeth Spencer Sauvignon Blanc, North Coast
“Boldly aromatic with top notes of passionfruit, and lemon rind, followed by layers of floral citrus blossoms, and tangy Meyer lemon. The palate offers a vibrant, quenching acidity and provides structure for flavors of tropical fruits, apricot, and a citrus mèlange, with the slightest hint of minerality to provide an intriguing counterpoint. The wine retains a sense of fullness without losing its refreshing acidity, flavors and aromatics remain lively and complex through the finish.”
2nd Course
Chicken and Mushroom Pasta with Tomato-Vodka Sauce
Wine-Elizabeth Spencer Rose of Pinot Noir, North Coast
“Ripe yellow raspberries, Meyer lemon zest, and guava with notes of dried wild strawberry. Intricately fresh throughout, with Satsuma, stone fruit and subtle cherry blossom, and a creamy, yet linear mid-palate and lasting, vibrant finish.”
Entrée
Asian Brined Pork Loin with Chinese Garlic Sauce
Wine-Elizabeth Spencer Grenache, Mendocino
“Dark in color, this Grenache delivers exotic and alluring aromas of fresh raspberries and orange peel. The wine is lively and light on the palate, with an acidity that refreshes and supports the fruit flavors from the front to the back. Black cherry, plum, and a subtle zestiness linger on the finish.”
Dessert
Lemon Ice Box Pie
