Everybody’s Gotta Hungary Heart: You Love the Wines of Hungary, You Just Don’t Know It Yet

How well do you know yourself? It’s an important question that maybe you haven’t asked in a while. Current research suggests you don’t know yourself nearly as well as you think you do and that you are, in many ways, a stranger to yourself. For example, you think you have a great sense of humor. But do you? You’re not the annoying co-worker who monopolizes every conversation and talks about herself constantly. But are you sure? You know that you are above average at your job. But doesn’t everyone feel the same way? How can everyone be above average?

You probably have noticed by now that this is an invitation to taste some wines from Hungary. We would wager that you haven’t tasted wine from this country before. We would also wager that you nevertheless have formed some conclusions as to what Hungarian wine might be like, and that you’re telling yourself these wines couldn’t possibly hold a candle to the wines of, say, France or Italy or even Austria. Are we suggesting that we know you better than you know yourself? Certainly not. But, since we’ve established that you may have a blind spot or two when it comes to your own self-awareness, we think you should just trust us when we say that these wines are delicious and worthy of your attention.
