Sea Smoke is not a story about a specific winemaker, it is the story of the land itself. The magic comes from the shallow clay soils, south facing slopes and the layer of marine fog, or "Sea Smoke", that travels up from the Santa Ynez canyon each evening; cooling grapes, intensifying the acidity, allowing the tannins to fully mature. This natural phenomenon results in the expressive and beautifully complex wines of Sea Smoke, sought after by the most distinctive connoisseurs. Tables are available from 5pm to 8:30pm Wednesday April 23rd. We are serving tasting menu format so guests can book an individual table and go at their own pace. Cost per guest is $200 for the five-course tasting menu and wine pairings and $100 for tasting menu only, prices are calculated before tax and gratuity of 20%. Please mention any food allergies at time of booking so we can prepare a suitable substitution. We cannot accommodate last minute substitutions the evening of the event.
