Around The World Dinner with Chef Shannon Smith

Join me for an intimate dinner in my outdoor kitchen on June 24 where I’ll be cooking some of my favorite dishes inspired from my travels around the world!

You’ll be welcomed with mojitos and pizzettes from my new wood-fire pizza oven. Dinner will begin with a garden salad inspired by my recent birthday lunch in Annecy, France, made with grilled goat cheese drizzled in honey. Next we’ll stop by Mexico where I’ll top homemade tostadas with grilled steak, Oaxaca cheese, and salsa verde from my garden. I’ll fire up my giant wok and fry rice with veggies and herbs to go with Indonesian chicken satay made with lemongrass and ginger. From Argentina I’ll be serving up grilled pork tenderloin and veggies with chimichurri and the finale will be a scoop of homemade peach ice cream and a Moroccan almond cookie.

As always, I’ll be offering wine pairings and the option of a welcome mocktail. In the event of extreme heat or rain, we will move the party indoors. This will be a marvelous summer dinner event you won’t want to miss!
