Make plans to join us for this Friday's wine samples. (4-6PM) Leigh will be pouring samples of the BLOODROOT CHARDONNAY. Chardonnay gets a bad rap but when done well it maintains its status as one of the best white wines of the world. BloodRoot starts with prime cool climate fruit, preserve its energy through cool fermentations and use of mostly stainless steel and neutral oak. Then they give it that final kiss of plushness with a judicious use of new French oak barrels. The result is top notch Sonoma Coast Chardonnay for a very friendly price.
