“We have the honor of introducing to you Cristina Marchesi, the daughter of the legendary Lionello Marchesi. The Marchesi family has three different estates, all in Tuscany, Poggio Sughere, Coldisole, and Castello di Monastero. You will get to taste wines from their estates that evening. We are offering four courses paired with three wines. We hope you can join us for this special one-night event.”

Biga is excited to have Christina here for our next dinner. It is always a pleasure to have an expert and owner from an Italian winery. We will start with a Prosecco from Friuli, then a Rosso di Montalcino from the Leonelli estate, Coldisole.  The third wine is from the Poggio Alle Sughere estate a Super Tuscan in Maremma. 

1st Course

Taste: In the mouth it is warm, almost earthy mineral, has good acidity and alcohol content, persistent with marked and balanced tannins.”
