Natural wine is more of a concept than a well-defined category of wine with agreed-upon characteristics. It's basically just wine in its purest form: unadulterated fermented grape juice and nothing else. But some "natural wines" have given the term a bad rap (because . . well, some stink!). It's time to set the record straight!

Our rep Ashley from Provisions Fine Beverage Purveyors is a staunch proponent of winemaking that is sustainable, low-intervention and that produces great wines without the 60+ approved additives that American winemakers can use to manipulate their wines (how many?!). 

 On Tuesday, July 25th, Ashley will be showcasing some fun "natural" wines that may have you rethinking your allegiance to conventional wine. There will be two class-style, sit-down tastings of approximately 45 minutes each at 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
